The Galápagos specialist par excellence is offering its first wellness cruise with renowned yoga and meditation teacher Phyllis Pilgrim, the former fitness director of Rancho La Puerta to take place October 25 to November 3, 2018. October is mating season for fur seals and nesting time for Lava Herons. On Española, Blue- footed Booby chicks are hatching. Naturalist Pati Stucki, a trained yogi herself, will lead walks each day to observe Waved Albatrosses at Punta Suarez fencing their beaks in their mating dance and hikes over sharp black pahoehoe lava at Sullivan Bay. In between, there is snorkeling with puppy-like sea lions and kayaking around giant sea turtles. It will be easy for INCA guests to reach a zen-like state exploring those beautiful islands and picturesque seascapes.
Phyllis has been a yoga and meditation teacher for more than 30 years. For 18 years, Phyllis served as “The Ranch’s” Fitness Director where she introduced mediation and mindfulness. She continues to teach classes there and has led wellness trips to Bhutan, Tanzania and Turkey. And she is a frequent visitor to the Galápagos.
A naturalist guide and yoga and meditation practitioner, Pati Stucki moved to Santa Cruz in 1996. When she is not teaching yoga, she enjoys diving, gardening and taking care of her coca farm in the highlands of the island.
Yoga mats, blocks, straps and blankets will be provided aboard INTEGRITY. Vegetarian, vegan, paleo, low salt and other diets, as well as any food allergies, are easily accommodated.
