Jill Donenfeld and Tiana Tenet are launching The Culinistas, in-home private chef services in Aspen and Palm Beach this coming winter.
Their focus is to provide on demand private chef services to busy households by specializing in regular meal prep visits and serving intimate dinner parties for clients who like to entertain at home.
The Culinistas co-founder, Jill Donenfeld, a former private chef, cookbook author, and Forbes 30 Under 30 award-winner, develops weekly menus of vegetable-forward, modern homestyle cooking that is prepared in the home by trained chefs from restaurants we all love, like Single Thread, Cosme, and Gramercy Tavern, that can be served or stored and left on hand for the week ahead. The Culinistas handle the menu planning, personalized local grocery shopping, cooking, and clean-up. Menus can be customized for any household or family’s diets and lifestyle.
Since launching the company in NYC last September, The Culinistas have serviced hundreds of busy, dialed-in households who want to eat well around their own dinner table without having to spend time cooking, or forfeitting and ordering in. Many of their clients have chefs visit weekly or bi-weekly so they have balanced, professionally home-cooked meals available like clockwork. After a successful summer popping up in the Hamptons, with clients like Taryn Toomey, Mama and Tata, Molly Simms, and Joey Wölffer, they are popping up in Aspen and Palm Beach this winter (Dec 14 – Jan 6th 2019) as they continue to expand and test new markets.
