Flora Spa offers six treatment rooms with exclusive experiences designed by Sisley-Paris. ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN
Designed by Architect Patricia Anastassiadis, Palácio Tangará takes inspiration from Brazilian art and natural landscape. The Grand Lobby features “Papéis Avulsos,” by artist Laura Vinci, introducing the same greenery as found in Burle Marx Park. The Burle Bar features photographs of the Amazon rainforest signed by Cristian Cravo, Araquem Alcantara and Alessandro Gruetzmacher. In Tangará Jean-Georges, a green carpet imitates the bottom of the lake and reflection of the forest on the water. The walls feature ceramics with copper details and paintings created exclusively for Palácio Tangará by Heloisa Galvão.
“It was not a conventional project. It is a part of the Atlantic Forest, as well as an interesting mixture between European architecture and the sinuosity of the garden of Burle Marx. The mix of people and cultures is super resent in Brazil’s history and culture,” comments Anastassiadis.
The interiors of rooms and corridors are designed by Bick Simonato, using a blue, beige, grey and green color scheme. All rooms are designed to open to onto a balcony or terrace. Featured photography includes “Brasil” by Dani Tranchesi and Icons of São Paulo by Rômulo Fialdini.
