Qatar Airways’ Award-Winning Qsuite to Take Flight in the U.S.

QSuite

Qatar Airways’ highly-anticipated, groundbreaking new Qsuite First in Business Class product will make its debut in the United States next month, arriving at New York City’s John F. Kennedy Airport on December 16th, 2017, followed shortly by D.C.’s Washington Dulles International Airport on January 16th, 2018. Capping off the 10 year anniversary of the airline’s flights to the U.S., New York and Washington join London and Paris as the first routes across Qatar Airways’ network of over 150 destinations worldwide to offer the state-of-the-art, award-winning Qsuite and are the first destinations in the Americas to launch the revolutionary product.

Patented by Qatar Airways, the Qsuite features the industry’s first-ever double bed available in Business Class and private cabins for up to four people with privacy panels that stow away, allowing passengers in adjoining seats to create their own private room; a first of its kind in the industry. Adjustable panels and movable TV monitors on the center four seats allow colleagues, friends or families travelling together to transform their space into a private suite, allowing them to work, dine and socialize together. These new features provide the ultimate customizable travel experience that enables passengers to create an environment that suits their own unique needs.

Qatar Airways Vice President for the Americas, Günter Saurwein, said: “We are incredibly excited to bring the Qsuite to the United States in December and January, in two of our most important gateway markets: New York and Washington D.C. This product will transform premium international travel by bringing a First Class experience to the Business Class cabin. With this innovative offering – which features the first-ever double bed in Business Class – we have set a new standard for the industry, one which demonstrates our continued commitment to providing the finest possible experience for our passengers.”

The launch of the Qsuite in the United States further affirms Qatar Airways’ commitment and contributions to the U.S. market and caps off a year of celebrating the 10th anniversary of Qatar Airways flying to the United States of America.

One of the world’s fastest growing airlines, and also celebrating 20 years of operations globally, Qatar Airways serves a network of more than 150 international destinations, with newly-launched additions to such desirable destinations as Prague, Czech Republic; Sohar, Sultanate of Oman; Kiev, Ukraine and Auckland, New Zealand.
