The ninth annual Flight to Luxury takes flight on Friday, September 14, 2018 transforming Centennial Airport’s XJet and Signature Flight Support hangars into one of Denver’s most prestigious charity events of the year. This year, Flight to Luxury benefits PIVOT, a newly launched Denver-based nonprofit founded by John Elway, Larry Mueller, and George Solich.
PIVOT is an innovative, dynamic new concept with a vision to empower youth-focused nonprofits to collaborate for greater impact. By working together, PIVOT propels Denver to provide the full spectrum of what it takes to help children thrive. PIVOT envisions a future where Colorado youth are empowered to succeed in the multi-dimensional aspects of life, bridging the gaps to provide full access to quality education, mental wellness, nutrition, and career readiness. Flight to Luxury aims to raise 1.5 million dollars for PIVOT at this year’s event, through ticket sales, sponsorships, live and silent auctions, and match programs.
Flight to Luxury is truly unlike any other event in Denver. Presented by Cuvée, the red-carpet hangar party leverages extraordinary, luxury experiences to deliver meaningful impact. Since the event’s inception, Flight to Luxury has raised over six million dollars for Denver youth charities. “We have a unique opportunity through Cuvée to use our business platform, network, and properties, to benefit the Colorado youth-focused nonprofit community in a very big way,” says Larry Mueller, founder of Cuvée and co-founder of PIVOT. “Flight to Luxury has always been very important to our philanthropic mission, but now with PIVOT, we have the capacity to do so much more to empower our Colorado nonprofits to work in collaboration and deliver measurable outcomes for our community.”
Flight to Luxury spotlights the most exquisite elements of luxury travel, including auction lots featuring Cuvée global destination vacation villas in St. Barts, Tuscany, Hawaii, Aspen, and more, high-performance automobiles ranging from Aston Martins to Lamborghinis, state-of-the-art private jets and helicopters, and jaw-dropping entertainment. Denver restaurant partners include TAG, Hearth & Dram, Chef Dane’s Kitchen, and Ocean Prime. Flight to Luxury attendees will imbibe on local and top shelf drinks and spirits, including Macallan, Wynkoop beers, and a range of Champagnes.

THE ENTERTAINMENT + SPECIAL GUESTS
Live entertainment is paramount at Flight to Luxury. During cocktails, guests will enjoy Colorado acoustic vibes from the Tin Brother Quartet. Attendees will also witness a high-flying act from Sway High, a blend of stilts and balancing at over 20-feet high. All female bands and vocalists will perform throughout the auction and fashion show. As in years past, John Elway will make multiple appearances and will be joined by additional Broncos talent (last year Peyton Manning auctioned off multiple football tosses to the audience to raise $140,000 for Flight to Luxury charities).
Live and silent auction lots further the opportunity to raise funds to benefit our community’s charity organizations. Highlights include:
- Five-night stay at Cuvée’s Villa Vue de Rêves on St. Barts
- Four-night stay on Cuvée’s Royal Island, a private island oasis in the Bahamas
- Five-night stay on Cuvée’s award-winning Hawaiian estate in Hualalali
- A South African adventure in Singita
- A Napa wine experience with private jet
