New York-based air charter operator Wings Air, the first helicopter company ever named Virtuoso Preferred Partner, is re-launching two Hamptons luxury experiences and adding two new ones for the 2017 season.
Wings Air has joined forces with 5-star venues and service providers in the Northeast USA to develop exclusive travel experiences, all involving private helicopter transportation. The ever-expanding collection currently includes flyfishing trips in Vermont, racecar driving at the Monticello Motor Club and The Ultimate Engagement at Glenmere Mansion.
The Hamptons experiences offered in 2017:
Hamptons Beach Picnic
This experience begins with a private helicopter flight from Manhattan to East Hampton by Wings Air, where a luxury sedan awaits to take passengers to a nearby beach picnic spot. A fully catered picnic is arranged beautifully by Perfect Picnic and event designer Nicole Cataffo with blankets, pillows and fresh flowers. Guests enjoy their favorite foods and drinks from real china and glassware while being waited on by an attendant. After a 2-hour oceanside picnic, guests are driven back to East Hampton Airport and conclude the day with a smooth helicopter flight back to Manhattan.

Insider Tour of the Hamptons
This experience, created in partnership with The Hamptonite Club, begins with a private helicopter flight from Manhattan to East Hampton by Wings Air. Upon arrival guests are greeted by their local concierge and a climate-controlled luxury vehicle for the day. The Insider Tour begins with a walking tour of historic Sag Harbor; alternatively guests may opt for shopping in East Hampton or visiting art galleries. A gourmet lunch with champagne is provided at Jean Georges, followed by wine tasting in Bridgehampton Wine Country. The tour also includes a visit to a quintessential Hamptons estate in Amagansett, before heading back to East Hampton Airport to fly home.

Private Dinner on a Hamptons Yacht (New)
This experience, created in partnership with Hamptons Yacht Charters, begins with a private helicopter flight from Manhattan to East Hampton by Wings Air, where a luxury sedan awaits to take passengers to nearby Sag Harbor. Guests then enjoy a romantic, 3-hour sunset sail on a 70′-90′ motor yacht around Shelter Island and Noyak Bay. A world-class private chef, server and crew are included and the menu can be customized to individual tastes (price may vary). The day is concluded with a smooth helicopter flight back to Manhattan.

East End Beach Lobster Cookout (New)
This experience, created in partnership with East End Charters, begins with a private helicopter flight from Manhattan to Mattituck by Wings Air, where a luxury SUV awaits to take passengers to nearby Greenport. Guests then enjoy a relaxing day sail to remote beaches, swimming, exploring and a seafood feast on the beach prepared and served by the crew. The day is concluded with a smooth helicopter flight back to Manhattan.
