Palms Casino Resort just parked Las Vegas’ newest art piece at its valet

Benedict Radcliffe Lamborghini

The latest artwork in Palms Casino Resort’s extensive collection just pulled up to valet of the Las Vegas hotel.

Benedict Radcliffe’s Lamborghini ‘Twin Turbo’ Countach made of 10mm mild steel round bars powder coated in fluorescent orange, resides in the porte-cochère of the newly renovated hotel and is set to be the jewel of the valet, even when parked next to some of the most luxurious sportscars.

After deciding not to pursue a career in architecture, London-based Radcliffe made his first full size wireframe car, a Subaru Impreza, in 2005 and exhibited it outside in a parking space rather than inside the art gallery. Since then he has made numerous wireframe sculptures including Range Rovers, a Jaguar E Type, A Ferrari F40 and a Lancia Delta. Radcliffe’s work can be seen throughout Europe, America and Japan, including in London’s Heathrow Airport, the Classic Car Club in New York, and now, at Palms in Las Vegas.

Palms Casino Resort recently debuted a world-class collection of contemporary, blue-chip and street art includes some of the most notable and unique art pieces rarely displayed publicly in one setting. Works from the likes of Andy Warhol, Damien Hirst, Dustin Yellin, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Takashi Murakami, Jason Revok, KAWS and more are woven through every detail of the property.
