Meghan Markle’s Obsession with Princess Diana

Meghan Markle’s obsession with royalty goes way back to her childhood.

Ninaki Priddy, Meghan’s childhood friend since they were two years old, told the Mail Online in 2017 that the now-Duchess of Sussex was fascinated with the royal family. She said that Meghan had a copy of Diana: Her True Story by Andrew Morton on her bookshelf. She also said Meghan wanted to become Princess Diana 2.0. Ms Priddy added, “I’m not shocked at all [by Meghan’s engagement to Harry]. “It’s like she has been planning this all her life.”

Meghan Markle posed with Ninaki Priddy outside Buckingham Palace aged 15 as it’s claimed she was ‘obsessed’ with the royals. Priddy continued, “She gets exactly what she wants and Harry has fallen for her play…but my advice to him is to tread cautiously.” Harry famously said before their wedding in 2018, “What Meghan wants, Meghan gets,” which may have been the first signal of the serious trouble to come.

A previous blog post by Meghan Markle suggests she lied to Oprah about never wanting to be a princess. Meghan  said in her Oprah Winfrey interview that she never considered what it would be like to marry a prince, but she had blogged about dreaming of being a princess. Citing blogs she wrote seven years ago, the Sun on Sunday revealed that Markle had fantasized about becoming a princess long before tying the knot with British royal, Prince Harry in May 2018.

Another Markle family friend, Sonia Ardakani, recalls Meghan as being “obsessed” with watching video reruns of Diana’s fairy tale wedding as a child, never knowing in her wildest dreams just how close to home the video would be.  Meghan Markle ‘idolized Diana as a child,’ yet she told Oprah in their 2021 interview that she knew little of the Royal family.

Meghan herself wrote about dreaming of being a princess and retaining the childhood fantasy in her blog, The Tig, on July 7, 2014: “Little girls dream of being princesses. I, for one, was all about She-Ra, Princess of Power. And grown women seem to retain this childhood fantasy. Just look at the pomp and circumstance surrounding the royal wedding and endless conversation about Princess Kate…”

According to people who knew Meghan when she was young, she was inspired by Diana’s style and compassion in her humanitarian work as a young girl. Meghan reportedly felt Princess Diana’s death in a “keenly personal way” and cried watching her funeral. In his book ‘Meghan: A Hollywood Princess, renowned royal biographer Andrew Morton said that, according to family friends, Meghan was “intrigued” by Diana and saw her as a role model. She started collecting clothes and toys for less privileged children with her friend Suzy Ardakani (Sonia Ardakani’s daughter), a move that was inspired by Diana.

Meghan Markle has blatantly based her image on Prince Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana as depicted in the images below… And it’s borderline creepy. Meghan Markle has proven herself to be a very disturbed individual, from disowning her father who treated her like a princess all her life, to threatening suicide while pregnant with Archie, to her life-long obsession with royalty and Princess Diana, and her perpetual deceit and hypocrisy that has played out in the media.

So, Meghan Markle always yearned for a royal life due to her ‘obsession’ with Diana. Her BFF said Meghan was a ‘superfan’ of the royal family and studied photos of Princess Diana. Meghan even managed to arrange her blind date with Prince Harry on Princess Diana’s 55th birthday anniversary, July 1, 2016. Poor, bamboozled Harry believes that ‘This beautiful woman just sort of tripped and fell into my life.’

Harry and Meghan are two of the most ultra-privileged people in this world of almost 8 billion people, and yet they are making a living out of being two whiny, pathetic spoiled brats complaining about how awful their families are and how bad their lives have been. Meghan has turned Harry from Prince Charming to Prince Harming, trashing his family just as she has trashed hers.

Meghan posed outside Buckingham Palace at age 15 and was “obsessed” with the British royals growing up, her pals have said. Sitting on railings alongside her longtime childhood friend Ninaki Priddy, she smiled for the camera with the backdrop of the Palace behind her. As a teen she studied pictures of Princess Diana and loved films like “The Princess Bride” which romanticized the idea of royalty. Another friend said: “Meghan was always interested in that whole world of pomp and ceremony and palaces and history – it’s no exaggeration to say she always wanted to be a princess. “She talked about Diana incessantly – she was like a superfan of the royals.” This is despite Meghan telling Oprah she knew very little about royal life before marrying Harry.

Snagging Prince Harry catapulted Meghan Markle into the top stratosphere of the world’s elite, made her world famous, putting her down in the history books as part of the British Royal family, made her mega-influencer dreams come true, and yet she says, “I gave up everything, I gave up my life for him.” What a delusional remark! She was of little interest or importance to the general public until she became Prince Harry’s girlfriend and then his wife… just a little-known cable TV actress who used to have to beg for tabloid coverage.

Why would a world-famous royal prince, who has hobnobbed with the world’s elite all his life be interested in a middle class partner from a troubled American family? Because he was bamboozled. She had everything in the world to gain and he had everything to lose. In fact now, Prince Harry is facing mounting pressure over his royal titles as a petition calling on the Duke to voluntarily give them up nears 60,000 signatures.

If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.” – Carl Sagan

When Prince Harry said to Meghan “Thank you for joining me on this adventure!” on his wedding day, little did he know that he was on Meghan’s adventure, not the other way around. “This beautiful woman just tripped and fell into my life, I fell into her life. I know that she will be unbelievably good at the job part of it as well,” Prince Harry told BBC in a pre-wedding interview. He was sorely mistaken.

Meghan is a textbook narcissist — incapable of feeling love, empathy, or compassion. Narcissists are fueled by hate and resentment. Meghan has used Prince Harry to become rich and famous, and is in the process of devaluing him and will discard him when she doesn’t need him anymore, or when he doesn’t kowtow to her. She herself proclaimed that “She Doesn’t Need to Be Loved, She Just Wants to Be Heard,” only something a narcissist would say. She preaches how other people should think and live, but doesn’t live by her words. There are endless examples of hypocrisy, from being “eco-lecturers’ yet traveling on private jets to preaching that everyone should get vaccinated when Meghan and Harry have not been seen getting the vaccine.

She exploits others for her own gain regardless of who gets hurt. Meghan has taken him away from everything that made him “Prince Harry” and has reduced him to “H” which is what she calls him. Before Harry met Meghan, he was a lovable, fun-loving guy with many friends. Now he has become a self-pitying, sour-faced bore, full of “politically correct” opinions and misguided celebrity ambitions.

Narcissists can never really love anyone. Every relationship they have is transactional, meaning they are always looking into what they can get out of it. Sooner or later, they will suck their partner dry of money, enthusiasm, self-esteem, or all three, and they discard them without looking back.

She burns bridges, devalues, and discards people. She has left quite the trail of friends, loved ones and business colleagues behind. These people have spoken out about being “ghosted” by the former actress, including most famously Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan, her own father, and her lifelong best friend Ninaky Priddy who said: “Once she decides you’re not part of her life, she can be very cold. It’s this shutdown mechanism she has. There’s nothing to negotiate. She’s made her decision and that’s it…Meg always wanted to be famous. She just loved to be the center of attention. We used to imagine her receiving an Oscar. She used to practice announcing herself.”

She must be the center of attention and requires constant admiration and praise. “Meghan Markle’s farewell wardrobe (before MEGXIT) was a ‘masterclass in revenge dressing’ designed to show the monarchy what it’ll be missing,” claims Vanity Fair – and draws comparison to THAT Princess Diana dress.

She blames others for her problems. Piers Morgan says, “The truth is that she’s a cynical disingenuous manipulator intent on wrecking the Royal Family’s image around the world with her shameless, shameful, money-grabbing victim-playing antics, and dragging her hapless husband along for the ride.”

She plays the victim to get what she wants. She threatened Harry with suicide while she was pregnant with Archie, so he would move fast on MEGXIT.

Meghan says “she is proud of who she is and where she comes from,” but her mother was the only member of her entire family invited to her wedding. Meghan never introduced Harry to her father because most likely she felt ashamed of him.

Kate Middleton ‘couldn’t understand’ why Prince Harry had never met his bride’s father before their wedding and was worried that Meghan Markle ‘appeared embarrassed’ by her family members. Meghan’s shame for her family showed through when her mother was the one and only family member present at her wedding to Prince Harry on May 19, 2018.  Meghan invited celebrities instead, many she barely knew. George Clooney claimed ‘We didn’t know Meghan and Harry.’

She manipulates and lies with ease to get what she wants. Her Oprah tell-all interview was riddled with lies, deception and half-truths all while telling her story with a smug look on her face.

She demeans, intimidates, bullies, and belittles others – palace staff have complained and quit because of her behavior. She has no regard for other’s feelings, only her own.

Princess Anne told Harry not to marry Meghan: “She is wrong for us, she is wrong for the country, she is wrong for the job.”

She must be in complete control – that is why she had to quit the Royal family, despite the prestige. Of course, hypocrite that she is, she still uses her royal title “Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex” in all her engagements and projects.

She believes that she is special and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people, as evidenced in her extravagant baby shower and wedding guest list of A-list celebrities, many she didn’t even know.

She has a grandiose sense of self-importance and a sense of entitlement, fashioning herself on Princess Diana and tricking Prince Harry into thinking she is the second coming of Diana, so he must protect and save her.

16 Ways Meghan Markle has shown herself to be a world-class narcissist:
– She has always been preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty and ideal love.
– She divides and conquers – she persuaded Harry to move thousands of miles away from his family.
– She must be in control – that is why she had to quit the Royal family, despite the prestige. Of course she still uses her title “Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex” in all her engagements and projects.
– She plays the victim to get what she wants.

– She almost never calls Harry by his name, instead she calls him “H” or “my husband”. Narcissists do not call you by name because it’s too personal. Narcissists use name-calling instead to belittle you.
– She has strained or non-existent relationships with her family members.
– She is not capable of forgiveness, compassion, or empathy.
– She must be the center of attention and requires constant admiration and praise.
