Revelstoke’s New Flying Moose Chalet Welcomes Guests Pursuing Unparalleled Luxury

Flying Moose Chalet

Located within the only inland temperate rainforest in the world, nestled between the Columbia Mountain Range’s Monashee and Selkirk Mountains, Revelstoke’s new Flying Moose Chalet is a luxurious, fully serviced chalet offering discerning visitors an exclusive group getaway. Once a sleepy hub of railway, forestry and natural resources, the charming historic town of Revelstoke has established itself as Canada’s newest, year-round mountain resort destination, enlivened with an influx of talent and energy, arts and culture, and a discerning clientele pursuing world-class experiences, accommodations, and service.

The Flying Moose Chalet is tucked away at the end of the exclusive Mackenzie Court Estate neighborhood, elevated above the Columbia River with unapparelled views of the surrounding peaks and the majestic 2,733-metre (8,967-foot) Mount Begbie. Minutes from the base of Revelstoke Mountain Resort and a short drive from downtown Revelstoke, the spectacular timber frame chalet spans 8,500 square-feet, offering a mix of contemporary luxury and mountain comfort in its furnishings, finishings and amenities. Perched above the home sits the largest private heli-pad in the area, capable of accommodating up to a Bell 212 to lift larger private groups to Revelstoke’s vast heliskiing tenures.

Thoughtfully designed to accommodate every need and desire, the Flying Moose Chalet’s exemplary service and hospitality includes an on-call private butler, driver, and daily housekeeping team ensuring all guest requests are met, and expectations exceeded. The chalet’s culinary team is built around a philosophy that celebrates the many talented local farmers, fishermen, ranchers, distillers, winemakers, and brewmasters that make up the community. Breakfast, afternoon tea and/or cocktails, and dinner embrace the local fare, presenting a world class gourmet dining experience.

Eight spacious and uniquely appointed suites, each with private baths, comfortably hosts up to eighteen guests. Luxury amenities at the Flying Moose include an outdoor Michael Phelps designed resistance pool, 8-person hot tub, 22-foot climbing wall, gym, steam and massage rooms, media room and games room, all planned around the central kitchen, dining, and great rooms.

Attracting international adventurers since the 1970’s for the unsurpassed quantities of snowfall and quality of powder, Revelstoke is the epicenter of heliskiing globally, and growing in reputation as a ‘bucket-list’ destination since the opening of Revelstoke Mountain Resort in 2007 (North America’s longest lift-serviced descent).

Summer draws more than the traditional rock climbing, rafting and hiking adventurers with an expansive mountain biking trail network, Revelstoke Mountain Resort’s Pipe Coaster and mountain lakes. Adding to the attraction, Cabot Revelstoke, opening in 2023, will include an 18-hole course, called Cabot Pacific, with a spectacular view-plane for the entire course. Flying Moose Chalet will soon find itself overlooking the intersection of the 14th and 15th fairways.

Revelstoke is a 2.5 hours’ drive from Kelowna’s International airport, with direct flights from Seattle, Toronto, Vancouver and Edmonton.  Flying Moose Chalet is operational year-round, with rates starting at $6,500 CDN + taxes per night in summer, $9,200 CDN +taxes per night in winter.  For more information, visit www.FlyingMooseBC.com.
